Australian-based residential energy storage and virtual power plant developer Sunverge Energy announced Martin Milani as the new CEO. Milani has worked as COO and CTO for the company for one year.
Sunverge Energy points out Milani’s many years of experience in grid services, technology and modernization. John Di Stasio, Chairman of the Board, emphasized the company’s efforts to quickly adapt to a changing global energy market and the new CEO’s suitable skills: “Martin’s extensive business and software experience makes him the ideal leader at this time in the Company’s [sic] growth, guiding us forward to deliver greater functionality and value to a market that has changed considerably since our founding almost ten years ago.”
One of Martin Milani’s key tasks will be the expansion of the Sunverge Platform, a software connecting energy storage units for utilities and residential users in order to create a Virtual Power Plant (VPP).
