Discover the Newest Trends From the French Energy Storage Market at the ees & IBESA Summit France

On 24 October 2018 the ees & IBESA Summit France, a part of the Intersolar and ees (electrical energy storage) summit format, will be hosted in the French city of Strasbourg. The goal is to bring together the major decision makers of politics, utilities and industry to work on in-depth education, enable high-quality networking opportunities, expand the use of all energy storage technologies on both a national and regional level, and strengthen the local energy storage industry.

The event is organized by Solar Promotion International, Freiburg Management and Marketing International GmbH (FMMI) and the International Battery & Energy Storage Alliance (IBESA), who already established successful events in the USA, Latin America, and the Middle East. Since the French energy storage market, which is growing by by around 40% according to EuPD Research, is booming , the three partners recognized the huge importance of such an event in France.

“A constantly changing and highly dynamic business environment requires innovative solutions to successfully compete in the marketplace and create a vibrant energy storage market. We have succeeded with our event concepts all over the world, because we adapt the framework of our events both to the country-specific market, the customs and the mentality,” says Daniel Fuchs, Vice President of IBESA.

Tina Engelhard, General Manager of Solar Promotion International GmbH, adds: “Today we observe increasing markets for stationary storage applications in residential, commercial and utility scale as well as a boom for the electrification in the mobility sector all over Europe. Planning for investments in battery cell production plants e.g. in Germany is the right way to enlarge the economic added value for energy storage solutions in Europe.”
